Congratulations Casey Schuchart on being named a PSBJ 40 Under 40 Honoree!

Meet the 2016 PSBJ 40 Under 40 Honorees

Four hundred were nominated, 40 were selected.

They come from trendsetting companies, such as Redfin, Apptentive, Zillow and Porch.com, and industry category leaders, including Group Health, Columbia Bank and CBRE.

They’re driven. They’re powerful. They’re all under 40 years old.

For each of the past 18 years, the Puget Sound Business Journal has identified 40 business leaders under the age of 40 from across industry sectors who are growing their business either as the CEO or as someone from within a larger organization who is moving the needle. This year nearly 400 people were nominated for the honor.

Click through the slideshow to meet them. Then join us on Sept. 15 for a luncheon at Benaroya Hall as we present them with their awards and honor their accomplishments. Tickets to the luncheon are available here.

The 2016 40 Under 40 Award winners join a distinguished list of 680 alumni that range from Concur co-founder Steve Singh to Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff. For a full list of alumni, click here.

To be selected, honorees were nominated. Nominees then were asked to complete a lengthy application. A panel of judges reviewed the applications and selected this year’s 40 honorees. Judges were Avidian Technologies and SolTerra’s James Wong, Artitudes Design’s Andrea Heuston, Dorsey & Whitney’s Larry Ward, Guidant Financial’s David Nilssen, Maveron’s Jason Stoffer and Social Venture Partners’ Lisa Nitze.

Nominations for the 2017 40 Under 40 Awards will open in January.
